(in Irish below) Every year former islanders and visitors alike return to Inis Treabhair, a little island off Eanach Mheáin on Connemara's coast. There they celebrate Mass by the old quay, go for walks and socialise and meet old friends with refreshments laid on at the landing pier. These photos show the arrival and departure during this year's visit on Wednesday August 6 last. People featured alone are former islanders.
