The view from the route we'll be taking, looking north across to the Maamturk mountain range, the ridge far left is the beginning of Cloch Mordáin in Cill Chiaráin. The island in front is Inis Mhic Cionnaith. A lot of Carraroe people come from this island. It has ancient piers that archaeologist Michael Gibbons plans to visit.
